South of France in a Bottle: Domaine Ott Clos Mireille Côtes de Provence Rosé

If you could bottle up summertime in the South of France, I imagine it would taste something like Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Côtes de Provence Rosé. With an elegant pale peach color, shimmering in the Provence sunlight, the sleek and sultry shaped wine bottle just sensually screams ‘drink me!’

Apricots, cherry, blood orange in the nose with hints of mineral earth, floral and spicy notes, this wine crisply dances on the tongue. There are delicate red berry and candied fruit flavors, with traces of honeysuckle and tarragon. It has a clean, long-lasting round finish, yet very well balanced with spice, floral scents and citrus fruits.

Summertime is all about light foods, so pair the oceanside wine with seafood, fish or even spicy Asian flavors. I paired this rosé with an Asian Ahi Tuna Tartare, fresh Ahi tuna, cucumber, green onion, radish and avocado served with pickled ginger and a soy drizzle.

Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Côtes de Provence Rosé and Ahi Tuna Tartare, the perfect meal to say goodbye to the summer!
