And Now Onto the Wine…

Recommended wine:
2009 Clos Ste. Magdeleine from Cassis. It is a blend of Marsanne, Ugni Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc.

How would you describe the aroma of this wine?
This is a really dry wine with a great minerality. You will mostly get the white flower flavor in the first palate, followed by some spices, to finish with a touch of honey.

Any interesting facts about the production of this wine?
It is a biodynamic production wine.

Why did you choose this wine today?
As we are in Summer, the days are hot and this wine is refreshing and perfect while on a boat in the middle of the ocean.

What food pairing would you recommend with this wine?
Just by itself, but if you insist on eating something after a day of drinking it, a cheese platter or some seafood would match very well.
