Entaste's Jime Tognion with GM Simon McKinless and Crew at aqua
Entaste is proud to announce the launch of its digital wine list application in one of Hong Kong’s trendiest restaurants with one of the longest names, aqua roma – aqua tokyo – aqua spirit. Located on the 28th and 29th floor of One Peking Road, Kowloon’s new designer fashion capital, aqua allows one to lean back against comfortable, leather half-circle booths and witness a spectacular view of Victoria Harbour, while enjoying a glass of champagne and an innovative combination of Southern Italian and Japanese cuisines.
The restaurant features a long, elegant dining room facing a wall of in-leaning, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, which serve as the canvas upon which Hong Kong Island’s stunning skyline is dramatically displayed. Tastefully decorated, glass private rooms, like brilliant, transparent little jewelry-boxes placed at either end of the dining room, provide the perfect nooks for private celebrations. Hovering majestically over the dining room (now a combination of aqua roma and aqua tokyo) is aqua spirit, a sleek lounge bar which provides a spectacular 360° view from the 29th floor.
The menu? A creative mix of Southern Italian and Japanese dishes. Order a crispy prawn tail with seared fois gras alongside aged balsamic marinated strawberries to start, and then switch to a tataki platter. Finish off with a traditional tiramisu or a green tea crème brûlée. Better yet, have both!
Additionally, aqua boasts an extensive wine list, dominated by Italian classics (but with many other regions represented), as well as a sake selection to go with some of the lighter Japanese dishes.
